another one!

there are few things that i truly hate in people, but being rude has really got to be on the top of my list. i mean really, kristina is right, i need to stop being so nice and just bitch back, because some people can be real mean asses.

i was sooo freaking mad after 5th period today, but talking to kristina after school helped. so i've really just got to dedicate this post to her, because everytime i talk to her she'll say "oh yeah that's right, i read your blog" and just simply amaze me :) thanks kristina!

but i guess all this work and no play has just gotten me in a grouchy mood. so today i went on myspace!!!!!! and soooompi!!! (which i havent done in forever) and right now i'm listening to the AMAZING jonas brothers, and life is feeling pretty sweet again. ahhh....

i still really need to catch up on my 90210 and Privileged though. i've only been keeping up through commercials, because i mean that's really all you need to watch to know what's going on, but stilllll! i havent watched 90210 for weeeeks. luckily i've tuned in for a few of the latest Privileged episodes, but i'm sure i'm still missing a few of those older episodes! i dont like Gossip Girls though. even though i kinda get addicted to it, i reallly dont like it because all of the girls are so skanky and backstabby-- how was it a best seller? bleghh. hot guys, pretty girls... but its just not working for me.

i'm kinda regretting not LOOOVVIINNGG the jonas brothers when i went to their concert, because now i love them.

listen to their new album. i love their last one too!!!!

i've noticed that since i started wearing those glasses i bought tommy over the summer, these past two days, i've gotten longer glances my way in the hallways from people! apparently people have noticed, so i've heard.

i'm so disappointed that seniors didn't win float building this year. we seriously suck, we havent won once all four years. and its not even that we didnt win, we got disqualified because we cheated!!! well, i heard that the juniors cheated too... but i wonder why they didn't get disqualified...

i realized, that i didnt take any good pictures at homecoming last weekend. maybe i'll go to christina's homecoming and take good pictures. omg, i neeeed a haircut. my split ends are killer. just ask elizabeth and melanie.

cheeeer up.

the economy is so bad, yet Americans are still going about their business, as if nothing is wrong. i guess i am guilty of that too, except i have this constant voice in the back of my head that keeps me a little worried everytime i purchase something totally unnecessary. i'm pretty sure the country's not gonna go broke dead, like back in the depression days, if our economy crisis gets out of hands-- but still, i am worried. i guess sometimes i worry a little too much though. i think its unhealthy.

school is so not as stressing as i invisioned it to be. however, it is still stressing! i'm not pulling my hair out of my brains yet, but i think i'm managing fine, seeing as how i still have the ability to procrastinate and get away with it. well, i can't say that yet, because i havent really gotten any grades back yet-- except my psychology test, which i got a D on. but the majority of class got D's... so i guess i'm on the right track. you can't blame me though! i've got 5 AP classes! and i really didnt think that was really that impressive or shocking, until i started telling people, and everyone gave me the impression of it being impressive and shocking! yay. i for once dont feel stupid. whooooooo. i'm still worried though. worried, worried, worrrrrieddd!

pheeeewwwwwwwwwww. so i guess i'm going to start typing slower now. i've really been rushing with everything these past few weeks! would anyone like a chihuahua by the way? we have accumulated too many dogs over the past few years, and we really no longer have time to take care of them anymore :( so if anyone's interested in adult chihuahua's, i have a few. REALLY!! i'm just looking for good homes for them! HELP ME OUT! there's no charge. and i'm getting desperate, because REALLYYY, i don't have time to take care of them anymore, and they need to get to good homes. i'd appreciate it, if you know anyone who's interested in chihuahuas, and you pass this information to them :) they're so incredibly sweet and cute.

i don't want to make this blog a reaaalllyy long one, but i havent blogged in so long, and i have so much to update on! well, let's just keep this short. i got my camera in! it's amazing, and i love it-- i've been taking pictures of everything! my birthday was freaking amaaazing. i've discovered a crazy love for baking. my senior project's gonna be on cooking (that's not official yet though).

today i went to the flea market. and there really wasn't anything that great. i got this cute indian bracelet/ring (or so my mom says-- that it's indian) and some yellow nail polish! then i came home to work on my yearbook "about me" and now after this i'm probably going to cook dinner and study for french...

ahh, i feel so sad thinking now, about how summer's over. i saw some of my co-workers at the flea market today, and i saw my kids at the Hmong Family Healthy Day picnic yesterday. i miss being a kid. this is gonna be my last year and the world is so crazy these days. ahhhh. that just means that we gotta cherish every moment, and savor all the good times. i mean look at my grandparents and my parents! they were in the middle of a war, and look at how far they've come. yes, you just gotta cherish every moment. and cheer up :)

salut, salut!

a little sad today.

so if i dont get to go to my high school, then i'm going to be sad. because i now live out of the district, there is a chance that i wont get to go to my beloved high school anymore! ahh. im so depressed about the idea. i love HISP and my school. its like my home. i havent finished my summer readings yet, but just the idea of me possibly not being able to attend school there, is making me not want to do all the hard work for nothing. im so gloomy now. technically we still do live down there... our house is down there. we actually have two houses down there! we're just living up here... ahhhhhh, whyyyyyyy? we're going to be moving back down into the city anyways? why cant we just do it now??? sighhh, my goodness.

i didnt get my camera yet, either. i started a bank account, so i had to put atleast $100 into my savings and have atleast $100 in my actual account, which left me with only $100 as well! and i've already spent most of the money on clothes for myself and my sisters, along with food. so basically i am broke again. hahaa.

but really all that is depressing me is the idea of not going to school with my frieeeeeeeeeeendsssssss! (and my boyfriend). ahhhhh. i hate it. i hate it alll!!

somebody can cheer me up and buy me this pretty ring.

but it still probably wont help. uuggh. come on, its my senior year!

je ne suis pas mademoiselle stresseé

because kristina is mademoiselle stresseé!

it's funny that we still have homework!!! well, actually it's not, but it just feels weird. today were the seniors last day at school, and i feel a little sad although i did not know too many of them that well. but its so odd. everything is winding down, and yet i just don't how to feel. to be honest, i just feel blah everyday.

i think i'm gonna have a very bad grade in pre-calculus this semester... and i'm not ashamed to tell everyone about it! because really, i deserve that grade, whatever it is that i'm going to get, and i'm going to welcome it (even if it is an F. OMFG, yes i know. the worst grade i've ever gotten in my life--the worst grade anyone can ever possibly get in their lives. but anyways,) i've realized that math is simply a weakness of mines, and i'm not afraid to just admit it to the world. yes, i am lazy and did not really try to improve my math skills at all. well actually i did, but i know i didn't try hard enough, because if i did i could've. and yet, for some reason i'm still not ashamed! i'm not ashamed... because i know i have other great aspects to me that other people don't have. and i know i've done great things this semester that i'm sure a lot of other people can't do as well as i can do, or simply can't even do at all.

for example: ------------------------
MY JUNIOR PROJECT! oh my god. that is the biggest accomplishment i've made this year, and i'm so freaking proud of myself. it didnt really seem that hard anymore by the end of it all... but the process was so tedious. and i've gotta say, i think i did a pretty damn good job. actually i've always done a good job in cosgrove's literature class (besides that one time i slacked on my data sheet for my junior project and got a C in his class-- which was lame because that assignment was the only thing in our grade). Like at the beginning of the year, when we had our "All the Pretty Horses" essay; i got an A on it!! and few people got the 94% i did :)

I also improved in AP PHYSICS!!! I'm confident i'm going to get a B in that class this semester. and i'm also confident that i did a good job presenting my science project this past wednesday! not to mention i'm thinking i did alright on that ap test... although i'm not going to say i'm confident i passed it :| so maybe i didn't do alright, but that's alright!

I ALSO SCORED OKAY ON MY SATs! yeah, basically. it's obviously not the best score ever, but i scored in the average area for UC DAVIS' incoming freshmens :D (as the statistics on collegboard states). so i guess i did pretty good for taking it for the first time.
------------------------

okay. so basically my point is: i'm only going to concentrate on the positive aspects of my life. i think it's great if you are a well-rounded person, and are good at everything. but i think it's even greater if you're able to focus yourself in on the things that you are really good at and you do enjoy doing. that way you won't only be good in those areas, but you can be super amazing in them. and that way you can stay committed to them and be passionate about them, so you will be able to make a great contribution to this wonderful, wonderful world!!

well anyways,

here's a little update on my life!

our yearbooks this year.

i found these cool mountain dew bottles in fresno last weekend.

garu died. and came back alive with a new type of flower. the other ten flowers dried away because i neglected to water them :| i still dont know what kind of plant he is.

my siblings are so odd, but they've been rooming with me everynight. since i'm a scaredy-cat! my grandpa scares me with his scary stories...

my little baby cousin is so cute. he loved the chickens. unfortunately we ate them. yes, we're beasts and asian. it's only a fact.

more fantabulous photos from fresno this weekend, of my cousins. i developed them in photography, for my photography sequence. (this is not the whole sequence)

lately!

i've been really frustrated, lately. i've been getting really ticked off easily, lately. i've been getting easily emotional, lately. i've been entirely out of it, lately. oh my goodness world, i think i'm in an another strange emo phase!

today i did horrible on my debate in literature. i don't want to go into details, because it was just that bad! it was so embarassing and it was all my fault. i swear, there just must be something wrong with class. i mean, i've done pretty well with a lot of my presentations throughout the year in other classes-- but every single presentation i've had to do in that class has just been a failure! really, i wish all we ever had to do in there was just to write essays. then i'd have an A! and i wouldn't have to worry so much anymore.

i totally agree with ck's post below about college... but i know that since everyone's competitive about it, even if at this moment i'm saying to myself its okay to not get into a UC, i know that that's what i'm going to be striving for, and if i dont get in i will simply be crushed. like today. with my debate. the debate was just all bad. so humiliating. i feel like such a failure! i let myself down, and it sucks. it was like a low-blow to maa face. yeah, i'm a little crushed about it. je suis un petit triste. i feel like giving up even more now. i dont know, i'm just "emo" right now and very vulnerable, so please be nice to me for a while.

i can't think of anything that can make me happy. or completely happy. i'm just feeeling very blaaah right now. stupid school. STUPID SCHOOOL!

ahhhhhhsdg. too many problems in the world. i can't even keep up with my own problems! how can i keep up with problems in the world right now. ahhhhhh. i need to get myself togetherrr!

i miss this friend i have in canada named Mayon. haha. that silly guy. i havent been on aim in forever, and therefore i havent talked to him in forever!

i want go shopping. but i have no money. it's okay though, i don't NEED to go shopping. everybody's freaking out about money, and really, i'm okay with everything i've got. clothes have actually kinda drifted out of my mind.

okay i need to make myself a list of important things to do! that i keep forgetting to do. maybe it'll help.

THINGS TO DO BEFORE THE END OF APRIL!
1. Study for AP Physics Test
2. Read the SATs Book
3. DO PRE-CALCULUS HOMEWORK!
4. Finish freaking "ON THE ROAD" so you can truly complete your junior project!
5. Make Robyn a phone case for her Voyager.
6. Plan the Summer trip
7. If you cannot plan the Summer trip, ask someone else to plan it.
8. Call RAINBOWS studio to schedule a family picture this weekend.
9. CALL CK!
10. SLEEP!
11. Be nicer to siblings and parents and family and people!
12. Chill out, pleasee.
13. Do your homework in general.

whoever came up with these glasses? and how did kanye rocking them make them so big? ahh it doesnt matter, because i actually wouldn't mind getting my hands on one of them. that'd make me happy actually! (so nvm, i guess materialism does fix everything!)

a gloomy sunny day.

I KNOW! I’m guilty.

Spring break has been keeping me busy.. and tired! I haven’t really been online all week, except for when I was at my aunts house. But those two days seemed to have passed by like *snaps* that! Anyways, break was good. I’m just sad that its over. Now I have to stop being lazy and move onto things like (ck said) ap tests, finals, sats, college! Ahhh! I’m just glad my finals aren’t any time that soon. Although I have a few tests this week, along with a term paper for photography due Friday that I totally forgot about :o But I’ll get things together. I always do, even if I have to pass pre-calculus and physics with a D and C again this semester (although I assure you that mistake will not happen again).

So the other day I was watching Hilary Clinton on demand. I felt like I needed to actually understand what was going on with the presidential candidates, so I saw a commercial about Comcast having a section on it and went to go watch it. It was interesting listening to all the different ideas she has set for America, and she actually won me over! But I haven’t been able to find Obama’s little section, so I can’t make up my mind yet. Although I’m pretty sure I’m not going to side with Senator McCain. My mom’s going to get her citizenship pretty soon, and she’s excited about voting for Clinton. She’s into the whole idea of a female for president, which I think is a little ridiculous. She should take into consideration all of the other aspects that the candidates have to offer, and not just Hilary being a woman. But she actually brought up some good points about her that made me understand why she’s going to vote for her.
Goodness. There's just too much going on in the world to fix.

BLAH! I hate school. I just hated today. It was horrible. I wanted to sleep in every class. I’m so drained that I have nothing to say anymore. I’m just worried. Really worried about everything! Does everyone go through these pangs of worried-ness during this age? I feel so weird. Like I need a longer vacation, maybe, I’m not sure. But my friend let me borrow her SATs book, so I’m glad about that. It’s so thick! Now all I need to do, is just go sign up for SATs. I don’t think I’m going to be able to go to that Kanye West concert anymore, because I’m going to be busy spending too much money on tests and a yearbook. I know my parents will get mad if I spend too much money.

Here are some pictures from that guy I’m doing my photography term paper on. Richard Avedon. He has some crazy pictures.

I’ll post up an entry with a bunch of pictures from spring break soon, when I’m not busy worrying about my life. I haven’t talked to ck for… five days!
