so cute, so fine, so fuun!

after looking at all these pictures, what i really, really, really, really want to do this summer, is to get all dolled up and go to a big crazy party with my friends. not a house party, but more like a big woodstock festival. wouldn't that just be sooo much fun? well, i think so :)

holy shiizznit. well i know i should be writing in my summer journal, like ck has been doing nonstop-everyday(!), but i can't help it! I WANT THESE GLASSESSSS! they're soooooooooo cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuutte. if anyone loves me enough, buy them for me, and you will receive endless amounts of love from me (even though you already have that). thanks :D

look at these girls, flaunting them off, when they're supposed to be minesss!!! >:[] lol.

i stumbled upon this french chick's fashion blogspot, and she's super cute. these pictures were part of one of her "inspiration" posts. i love those glassesssssss.

okay.. and these sandals are also to die for!! but i really don't know how much 75 euros are in dollars.. probably way too expensive for me anyhow!

all of your love,

fangirling once again.

i just watched camp rock yesterday, since i don't have cable anymore and am suddenly no longer updated with the rest of the world. actually i watched it at marissa's house before we went to the drive in theatres about two days ago, but then yesterday my sister's wanted to watch it, so i found it online somewhere, and they've been watching it all night and morning! i like it though. it's kinda reeeeaaallyyyyy cliche and the storyline is sooo predictable, but still, it's cute. disney movies always gotta give us that fuzzy feeling inside :D and besides, the jonas brothers... :OMG!

okay, so i recently saw these pictures of the jonas brothers from cosmogirl, and joe was not looking mighty fine. something was wrong with his hair, and he just didn't seem as cute as usual. NICK, however, was looking preettyy cute :) and kevin just loooked like kevin (haha). witness below please:

the point is, however... that after watching camp rcock.. ahhhhhh! JOE IS SUCH A CUTIE!!!! and so is nick, muahahaha. i guess it's one of those things, where you've just got to see them in action to really see them for who they are. for example, in concert, kevin has got to be my favorite because i love that pelvic thrust he does with his guitar.. onmgggg, its sooooo sexy.

ahh.. anyways, tommy went camping this weekend, so it's lonely being home all day. marissa and i randomly applied for work at this secondhand store called Crossroads, but i don't think i'm going to get accepted-- i don't mind though, it was just a spur of the moment thing. Crossroads is a cute store though. people have been telling me about it forever, but i just never got the chance to go. however even though they have good name brand clothes and stuff, i still like regular thrifting better because its cheaper and simply because real thrifting is always so much more fun! after all that fun stuff, T.P. went to go watch the love guru, and it was pretty funny. not as great as i thought it would be, but it was good enough. i loved the "cut the pickle... tickle, tickle!" parts, haha. and the "TM!" parts as well.

many lives, many masters

so did anyone watch oprah on tuesday? because now i'm totally obsessed with this idea of undergoing a past-life regression with psychiatrist Dr. Brian Weiss :D of course i've gone crazy obsessive after watching the show, and i've read basically all of the excerpts on amazon from his books. i really want to find out my past life! but i think he only does his process with patients who actually need the help... so i am out of luck! because i really don't think i have any serious problems that need to be solved by undergoing a past-life regression.

if you have no idea what i'm talking about, i dont know how to explain it! so here's a youtube video to help show you, because i am at a loss for words.

18 rules for living

I just stumbled upon this (thanks to stumble!) and I never want to forget it so I am going to post it up here. It is good advice.

"At the start of the new millennium the Dalai Lama apparently issued eighteen rules for living. Since word travels slowly in the digital age these have only just reached me. Here they are.

  1. Take into account that great love and great achievements involve great risk.
  2. When you lose, don’t lose the lesson.
  3. Follow the three Rs:
    1. Respect for self
    2. Respect for others
    3. Responsibility for all your actions.
  4. Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck.
  5. Learn the rules so you know how to break them properly. [HAHAH props to dalai lama)
  6. Don’t let a little dispute injure a great friendship.
  7. When you realize you’ve made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.
  8. Spend some time alone every day.
  9. Open your arms to change, but don’t let go of your values.
  10. Remember that silence is sometimes the best answer.
  11. Live a good, honourable life. Then when you get older and think back, you’ll be able to enjoy it a second time.
  12. A loving atmosphere in your home is the foundation for your life.
  13. In disagreements with loved ones, deal only with the current situation. Don’t bring up the past.
  14. Share your knowledge. It’s a way to achieve immortality.
  15. Be gentle with the earth.
  16. Once a year, go someplace you’ve never been before.
  17. Remember that the best relationship is one in which your love for each other exceeds your need for each other.
  18. Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.

summer loving.

So far, summer has been great ...except the days I stay home and do NOTHING which is really LAMMMME. But I have lots of plan for summer and I hope my summer can stretch and fit everything I want to do. I guess because I feel like this could be the LAST SUMMER with my crew, that I am kind of trying to squeeze all the experiences I can into it. I like taking it one day at a time, but I don't want to waste a moment that could be for memories.

Pachia suggested that we both do summer journals to write about our summer and I really suck at sticking journals, but it is actually a good idea. I have been writing almost every day in the journal actually. Even if I didn't do much that day, I just write what I was thinking of or things that have been going through my mind. I know we already have this blog, but the journal is a little more personal and a little easier to pour out my feelings because some of my thoughts are way too lame and embarrassing to be typed online.

So I guess the first sad thing that has happened and made me realize about the whole "growing up, and growing apart" experience is my friend Eunsong leaving to move back to Korea. She came sophmore year but she really did not become part of our group until junior year. Even though I wasn't the closest with Eunsong, it was really sad to lose a person and to know she won't be there to GRADUATE with us next year. That is the saddest part. So the day before she left, we made an effort to get the group together and hang out with her before she left. It was really chill and we just hung at Tiffany and Adrienne's houses and played rockband and karaoked but I had to leave early because I had to work. What made me even sadder was the fact that some of us probably will never see Eunsong again and when we do, we will be all GROWNUP and adults. Pretty weird.
Picture: Ross, Tiffany and ME rockbandiiing. I am wearing MELANIE's GIFT to me. haha.

  • GREAT AMERICA! adventures
  • hang out with le petit ami
  • party at ck's house
  • simply being summaaaa!
  • I GOT A CAR!
bad shtuff:
  • bitchinesssss alllll dayyyy yesterday at G.A.
  • bad moods
  • no more camera
  • exhaustion
  • i can't drive.

so far, i have nothing exciting to blog. my cousin lost our digital camera and my mom was very mad when she found out. first of all, because he took it without anyone's permission, and second of all because he didn't tell anyone but my brother about it. Great America was freaking aaaaahh-maaaazing! but everyone was being bitchy before and after it. so i was kinda in a bad mood last night, and right now. besides that, i got a caarrr! and i was super happy :) the weird thing was, that when we were our way to go pick up the car, this random lady driving next to us started talking to us and was like "does he want a lexus?" to my dad. at first we were just kinda like whaaaat? but then she suddenly said "the lord's going to bless you with a new car!" and then my mom was all excited and was like "YEAH! HOW DID YOU KNOW?!" but we had to turn and leave her, because the people behind us were honking. weird i tell you, weird. i guess its a good car though. 1996 corolla, so its old, but it took us all the a way to Santa Clara and back on only 3/4 a tank! gas saverrrr! bad, bad, bad news, is that i cant drive it until i get my license. and even worse news? my parents are, like usual, always denying me when i want to drive. more bitchiness. or as ck and her friends would say "bitch-assness!" here's a picture of what my car looks like.. although its not my actual car!

goooooooooooooooooodbye.

bring on the sun!

this is what i wannnnnt.

i seem to always want a lot of things. this weekend i went to the mall with my T.P. gang (TYLER+marissaPABLO, TOMMY+PACHIA) and there were soo many cute things at forever21, i wanted to just eat it all up! i bought tommy these super cute $5 glasses from forever :) and i think he looks super duper cute with them on, not to mention he also looks super duper smart too, hahaha. i realized today, however, that they're actually girl glasses (i'm not sure why i didnt realize that earlier) and the ends flare out a little. but that's okay, because he's cool with it. the shades above are from urban, and i think they're so adoraabblleeee. i never see them at the store when i go though :| and they're pretty expensive... $16. well they're not that expensive, but i found this cute place online where you can buy cheap sunglasses. fredflare.com! sadly, however, their heart shades are not very cute :(

here are some pictures we took at the apple store. i'm completely obsessed with macs now. i really really want one too! but they're also super duper expensive. siiigghh. check out tommy's cutie patootie glasses though :)

hey, i actually found them online!

three more days, and i'm officially free.
not to mention a HIGHSCHOOL SENIOR!!!!!!!!

finally FREEE.

Pachia is gaaaaayyy and says she has nothing to post so I will post. So this week has been pretty crazy. I have officially ended junior year, went to graduation of my senior friends, took SAT IIs and lots of finals. CRAZY!!! Looking back, it seems like this was not a couple days ago. Well Tuesday and Thursday were finals but Thursday was last day and I actually did not have any serious finals in my classes. Yay.

WEDNESDAY's graduation. I didn't go to school that day because it was only 3 hours long and I wanted to leave for graduation before everyone else did after school. Hanh, Tiffany, and Jessica got a ride from me. I-5 was closed so we took the long way (local), felt like a million years to get to Arco Arena. To say it short; graduation was pretty okay. But the whole time I was thinking "This is us next year!" As I saw seniors walking the stage, people making the speeches, all I could think was about next year and ME GRADUATING and MY FRIENDS GRADUATING?! Surreal. Very. I cannot believe we have gotten this far. The two speeches made by the valedictorian (who I actually know) and the speaker at large (who I also know) were pretty inspirational. Even though they said the usual "cliche" kind of things... I felt the speeches were directed at me also. Gabe's quote for his speaker at large speech was the best.
“And will you succeed?
Yes! You will indeed!

(98 and 3/4 percent guaranteed)”

-----DR SEUSS "oh, the places you will go"
Amy's valedictorian speech was mainly about how we should not be afraid of success. At first I was thinking.. I am more afraid of failure but I think at the same time, she is right. We are afraid of taking the future HEAD ON and being afraid to do things alone. We have to take chances. She inspired me to think that I will change my attitude for senior year. I AM GOING TO TAKE SENIOR YEAR FULL ON and no complaints and no fears. This whole time that people have being saying "oh yeah we are finally gonna be seniors yay". But I am in denial. I really do not want to be a senior. I am just a little girl who wants to stay at home and suck her thumb. But I have to be brave. I have to not fear anything. I will just do it and get it done! FOR ME AND ME ONLY!!!

But after the graduation, we rushed to go find as many of our senior friends as we could and take pictures and have "last goodbyes". I did not find all my friends :(, but it was all good. It was fun and it was actually a pretty happy event, I did not cry at all.
Tiffany, Francis and Me.
Francis went to the Phillipines for college :(

Before Graduation, at my house. Our dresses!!!
I wore my "wild dress".

Gabe had a million things in his hand so we (tiffany and I)
had to pull out his phone out of his pocket and hold it for him,
while we were taking pictures he was on the phone.

Jirell and ME.

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL was on Thursday. It was a really chill day for me. In AP Chemistry we had a potluck. So we wanted to make pancakes from the left over mix we had because Chem Club always has breakfast meetings. So we took two hot plates and foil on both. We put enough batter for one small pancake on one hot plate, then we took the foil and flipped it on to the other. Taylor sprayed on some non-stick spray (BAD IDEA) and we put the pancake batter on. Then it started to sizzle and bubble and Lissah thought it smelled weird and she said we should flip it. So we took the foil and flipped it but then IT BURST INTO FLAMMMMMESSS. It was right underneath the wooden cabinents too. Well we paniced and we couldn't think of anything to do. I was in the motion of thinking which way to run to put out the fire even though there was sweet tea in front of me and a sink next to the fire. Well the fire died out by itself a minute after but we were all shocked. We probably would have died at our slow reactions. We had to open the doors and windows because of the smoke. It was pretty crazy. That was a nice way to end AP Chemistry. At lunch, we just took lots of silly last day pictures of course.

Our cheesy crew

In celebration for last day of school, we continued our tradition from last year. We went to El Super Taco and I had a Super Burrito again. Then we went to Safeway and Red Berry and caused some ruckus. Then I had work. Sad, I had work on last day of school. But it is all good. I cannot wait for the summer to really begin!!!!

---------------goals for summer--------------------------
  1. learn how to drive (im almost a senior and i still do not know, SAD)
  2. do summer work early
  3. HAVE A KICKASS SUMMER because you freaking deserve it
  4. save money. a lot of money. for the future
  5. think about senior project. and research into it
  6. go somewhere different.
