songs that i can listen to over and over.

I was listening to my little sister's mp3 today and we both download a ton of songs and she actually listens to them ALL and picks out the best ones and puts them on her mp3 so most of her songs are the best picks. Gawd my sister is listening to better music than me. Whenever I get on the computer I just play all my music in my files at random but for some reason I usually don't hear the new songs at random. For some reason, I like music but I usually tune out the lyrics. I don't always listen to the lyrics. I know it is dumb for those crazy music fanatics who know every word and every beat to their favorite songs but that is how I listen to music. I am more for the rhythm and the beat than the lyrics. I remember in middle school I had a friend who was crazy over Eminem and she knew all the lyrics to his songs AND when he would take a breath between raps. Pretty crazy right? I am a fan of certain artists but I have never been a CRAZY fan who stalks that artist's webpage/myspace/forum constantly. I really cannot focus so much devotion for one artist. I can be fangirly but looking at certain fangirls online on forums, I am a bit jealous. I can never be that devoted to an artist. I truely would love to meet certain artists but I probably wouldn't deserve it as much as some crazy fangirls who really obsess over them. But I do respect devoted fans. They have a passion for their favorite artist. And that makes me a bit jealous. I have never had a passion for a certain person ever. I think. I've had close feelings but not as near close as some people.

Anyways, back to lyrics. When I do actually stop and listen to the lyrics of songs, they are amazing. It opens a whole new world. I am really astounded by people who write songs. I wish I could. I mean first to think of the WORDS then to think of how the WORDS go with MELODIES and to make the WORDS COME ALIVE. It is truely amazing. And to think that those words that turns into a song actually brings a meaning to other people. It is crazy.

Well here are my little picks that I love.

I love the Strokes. Not a true passion but I have a great fondness for them. They are unique to me. They have this sound that bring memories. Julian Casablancas' voice reminds me of last year, sophmore year. It reminds me of Marie Antoinette (the movie haha), talking to Vivian (I listened to them after hearing them on her myspace), fall to spring, Amelie (the movie), Science of Sleep (the movie), going to Min's house, summer shorts.

Not sure where my little sister found this band but I like their sound. Though looking at their lyrics, they are a bit repetitive.

I really can play this song over and over again. Though I kind of get annoyed by their voices in most of their songs. I really love this song. I remember this being one of my myspace songs last year.

So I am slowly becoming a fan of Kate Voegele. Though to me she has a sort of country voice but she has more soul than twangy countryness. She has passion in her voice. And I love any ballady song with piano alone.

I like the original with Cee-lo too but here is a special version with Se7en. This is a really good dancing song. Gets me really hyphed when I'm in the car.

I am not a big fan of Jonas Brothers but I LOOOOOOVVVEEE THIS SONG!!! I know Jonas Brothers are really teen boppy and everything and yeah I did not really care much for them until I actually saw this song on Disney (YES I WATCH DISNEY...i have younger siblings). Pachia posted the actual version a couple posts back but here is the acapella. I like the regular version better but the acapella really shows off their voices. Though sometimes I get annoyed by Joe's kind of..."whiny" voice like how it isnt really smooth and sounds like nails on a chalkboard in the beginning when he is like "ooohh yeahhh" but t hen he breaks into the smooth " if the heart is always searching...". But yeah I am becoming a teeny boppy fan of them. But yeah the LYRICS to this song are freaking HEART TOUCHING. Love it. But yeah the second one is the FIRST VERSION when they were younger. Nick's voice is all undeveloped. How did Joe's voice get so annoying now?

That Apologize song does not do One Republic justice. After listening to several of their songs, I really like One Republic style. The style of their songs are similar with that slow powerful songs with great lyrics. I love the part "all I need is the air i breathe, and a place to rest my head". Beautiful song.

Dude, Maroon 5 are freaking sexy. Adam Levine's voice is freaking sexy. Augh this songs makes me want to make babies with this man. It has sex appeal. Haha. I like the song a lot.

I love music. They give me warm cuddly feelings. Augh must continue to study for mid-terms tomorrow :(.

spppprrrinnngg breakkkkk!

YEAAAAHHHHUUHHH!! Today was such one of those days where no one pays attention and everyone is watching the clock hit 3:03. Well today was a pretty exhilarating day to get out of spring break (and happy PI day). We had a food fight at school today. I wouldn't really classify it as a scene out of the movies because I did not stick around long enough to watch (or get hit by food) but it was a classic moment for our high school. I was kind of glad to witness it. Well I had already heard rumors that a food fight was going to be started by the juniors from a friend, but I really did not think it would happen. I was just joking when I was saying I wanted to hurry up and eat and leave. I went to the lunch line and told Mylinh and Jimmy but they did not believe me. Well we were too preoccupied to think about it so we kind of forgot about the rumors. Well, of course being high school kids, rumors had already flown by and people were randomly standing around. The administrators and security were pretty alarmed of course. They started kicking out people and getting really nervous. Well I thought that since the security and vice principals were around, nothing would go down. But oohhhh I was wrong. I could feel the tension rising in the room. Everyone was hyphed out. Luckily my friends and I were prepared to escape if anything was to happen. Well then I see one of the security ladies yelling at a kid and she gets distracted, then suddenly like a ROAR and I guess it started. I didn't see food being thrown, all I saw was kids going out the door, then I looked at Tiffany and were like shiiit lets GO! So we grabbed our shit and ran for the door, almost got trampled by a bunch of kids. Everyone was rushing out and throwing food. It spilled out to the quad and we ran off. We were pretty far from the cafeteria and we could see that food was still flying out. People were running and water bottles were coming down. Then they hit the bell early and we had to walk to class. As we were walking to class, people were still throwing water bottles. Well when we got to our third period, my teacher wasn't around and we were all talking about "battle scars" and our experiences. One girl had a white hoodie and she had major casualties with chocolate milk, slushie, etc. It was a mess. Everyone was so hyphed up after that. We spent like an hour in third period talking about it. Then we had to take a Spanish test. LAMMMEE. I probably failed because my head was all jumbled. It was an interesting day for a Friday. Then in fourth period, we had a substitute teacher and our AP English teacher gave us a partner multiple choice and a timed essay. It was horrible. The class was still hyphed over the food fight, it was the last period of the day, everyone was talking about their spring break plans and the multiple choice passages were hard to read as hell. I hate SIR FRANCIS BACON. His passage was the most tongue twisting, annoying passage I have EVER READ. It was horrible. The essay was worse. But I actually got what the essay was talking about. I hate analyzing rhetorical strategies. Well I just wrote a page and a half of crap and turned it in. I was glad to be out of school for just a week. But we had PIC practice for luau. But Tiffany and I skipped the PIC meeting and hung out in her car and listened to Big BANG! Then PIC practice was sweat dropping work. Tahitian is not easy I can tell you. Do you know how hard it is to keep your butt shaking the whole time. Very hard.

Excited about SPRING BREAK. But it is only a week and I have a lot to squeeze in a week. Well if I can go (probably) to the LAKE Pachia and I. Maybe you will actually see pictures of us TOGETHER! Yeah I am excited to hang out with junior prom crew + more again. I hope it is sunny Wednesday. Yeah beach bunny time!

After that, I will be a social hermit and study. This song is definetly a song that reminds me of spring. Makes you want to stand up and dance.

The Strokes remind me of sophomore year. I was hella into them sophomore year.

feelings of spring.

The weather hasn't been very springy, but I have slight allergies lately. Which I hate! But spring is around the corner. It really is.

My parody for Catcher in the Rye for our English AP 11 assignment.

So if you really want to know, I am supposed to write a parody about Catcher in the Rye, and I have to write it on any subject that Holden would find "thought-provoking". Like anything Holden thinks about is "thought-provoking". For one thing, he talks about sex for like a thousand pages in the book and he doesn't even do it! I mean do you remember the part where he gets a freaking prostitute in his grubby hotel room and he just ends up being emotional like a girl and doesn't want to do it. Yeah you probably don't remember. But anyway, Holden makes me mad. Do you want to know why? Because he is a whiny baby that is why. He whines about his "lousy" childhood and his boo-hoo life and him failing like every freaking school he goes to but who gives a crap. I mean think about everyone else in the world. They have worse lives than him for chrissakes and he is some sniffy little upper-side rich kid from New York with a fancy apartment back home and at least he can afford to smoke a couple packs a day. Think about the bums who can barely beg for a smoke. They probably have to like pick up little cigarette stubs that people drop and try and smoke that. Holden shouldn't even be smoking anyway. He is only like sixteen. What kind of mother raises her child to be like that. Bad mothers that is for sure. Well there are bad mothers everywhere. Sometimes I even think my own mother is a bad mother. Maybe it is just because she is my mother. But Holden, the way he goes on about people is damn annoying. The one thing that really grinds my gears i when he talks about phonies. If there ever was a phony, Holden sure is one. He is one of those phonies who label every single person a phony and acts just like a phony, you would what I mean? Those kinds of phonies are especially the worst. First he labels his roommate a phony, the girl he used to like a phony, his mom, his teacher, etc. Pretty much everyone is a phony to him. even he is a phony. in fact he is the biggest phony. but I can understand what he means by a phony. Except the phonies I see are the ones who spend day and night worrying about their future, spending most of their time on homework, always trying to work the system and get to a good school, and always trying to be number one. Those kinds of phonies I hate the most. But I am one of them. Except I am not a very good phony like them. I am smart, but not very smart. But don't those phonies every realize, we just gotta live life. Like we just have to take a breath of fresh air. Like we don't have to worry too much about the future. Like that we can actually enjoy learning. Maybe that is just me. And maybe I am just crazy like that. That I actually enjoy not being number one as long as I learn just as much. But sometimes I wonder how many people see how phony I am. And maybe I am just crazy like that. But who really cares? People just acre about themselves. And sometimes they should. And sometimes they shouldn't. I mean if no one cared for each other, what would happen to the world? Something would for sure. Something would for sure. Only God knows what. And that thought itself is a little bit scary. Maybe just a little.

New Video with TOP
"IM SORRY" - Gummy ft. TOP

TOP is quite hot but yes another lame Korean music video. Disappointing ending. Korean people need new ideas for cool videos.
