hello two-thousand-and-nine.

Wow to think it is already 2009. Freaking crazy as hell. This year holds up so many expectations already. It is kind of scary and sad at the same time. But happy. Happy because this is truely going to be a new year full of SCARY NEW THINGS.

This is the year of senior ball, graduations, college admission letters, buying college dorm stuff, new friends, etc. Before it was midnight, I was talking to Michelle and we were awfully scared about the new year. We are not exactly ready to be thrown out in the world. But looking back now, I think we may or may not be ready but I know we can survive. Pachia and I always talk about how it is so crazy how the years have past by but I know we are excited as much as we are scared. I think the world needs to get ready for us, because we are finally coming out.

I am pretty happy because I just finished my LAST APPLICATION. ALL MY COLLEGE APPLICATIONS ARE DONE. It is a miracle. I am glad it is damn over. I've been worrying about my applications all winter break. I hope I get into somewhere. At least I have states for backup haha.

oh yes, happy 1st year anniversary of our blog. I am glad we actually kept up with this thing. It is amazing we did. I know we both do not stay committed to these types of online journal/blogging things long but I think we have tried as best as we could to be committed to this one. Even though we have been writing less and less. We used to have like 20-30 posts for a month. Now we have like five, haha. But I promise I will do more. We are just both busy and lazy. But I promise to write more because I don't want to forget anything. I want to preserve our memories in these pages. I suck at diaries so this is as close to a diary as it can be for me.

new years resolutions
  1. write more in our blog, write more interesting things, more intellecutual things
  2. do not get senioritis. you are almost there but you will not get that virus
  3. get a license (i am sad i know, almost eighteen too)
  4. make good memories with everyone, even those you are not close to because it could be the last
  5. get another job (that one will be hard)
  6. even though you are reluctant, grow up. cant be like peter pan forever
  7. learn how to be more adult
  8. accept life as it is, never be bitter
  9. don't forget your optimism.
hopes and dreams for 2009
  1. getting into a college i will be happy with
  2. throw that rave party for my 18th birthday
  3. a senior ball date
  4. a junior prom date, i said i would go so i will go!
  5. keeping in touch with the people i care about
  6. going on a road trip with friends
  7. lets go to disneyland!!!!
  8. a great summer as great as 08
  9. crying less, stressing less
  10. be more daring, regretting less

I think this year is going to be great. I really do. Just as great as 2008.

---edit---

I saw my other blog friends doing this so I will do this too. I need to see if I accomplished any of my resolutions last year.

CK's RESOLUTIONS:
  1. Stop taking naps (it ruins your sleeping pattern!)
  2. Figure out what colleges you might want to apply to
  3. Drink milk
  4. Stop slouching (could cause later back problems and stunt your growth even more)
  5. Stop having freak-outs about school.(optional)
So I don't really drink as much milk. But I do drink some. I probably still slouch. And of course I cannot stop having freak-outs. But I think less dramatically as last year. And I have stopped taking a lot of naps during the school year because I was working and man I would be in trouble if I did not figure out what colleges I would be applying to. Good Job CK for 2008.

* happy anniversaryyyy

it's crazy how it's already been an entire year since we started this blog! and its sad that christina and i couldn't spend new years together like we did last year. but last night i spent some time going through all of our posts throughout the year, and we've definitely grown and changed. i'm soooo glad we made this blog, because it's going to be really fun going through all of our old posts when we're old and in college and no longer teenagers anymore.

i didnt really do anything for new years. my family went to sleep early, and i stayed up doing my common app for stanford and finishing a 2008 bulletin quiz on myspace. yippeeeee... and then i went to sleep rejected as my drunk bf hung up on me twice :| but it's okay.

i did spend christmas in fresno with the family though, and that was nice. i love kidddddies, especially my little cousins who are so adorable.

hopefully 2009 will be just as fun as 2008. my resolutions are simple this year: get into college, keep my grades up, find a job!!!!

Happy New Years!!! :)

objectives and the new year

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

This is the first blog by my best friend and I (ck&pachia) together. We hope to share our knowledge and love all around the world. I love how cheesy that sounds. Our objective for this blog is just like the title said to share "the obsessions of two teenage asian best friends". We will share our love for fashion, korean dramas, korean boys, asian music&dramas, humanity, etc, etc. Hopefully we will be able to either leave posts that can "move one's soul" or just give you the right tips to help your life. I would love to help someone's life in any way. :] But to describe ourselves, we are just your average normal sixteen year olds in high school just hoping to get into the right college, do the right thing and party hard. And to get this blog started, new year's resolutions:

CK's RESOLUTIONS:
  1. Stop taking naps (it ruins your sleeping pattern!)
  2. Figure out what colleges you might want to apply to
  3. Drink milk
  4. Stop slouching (could cause later back problems and stunt your growth even more)
  5. Stop having freak-outs about school.(optional)

---------------------------------------------------------- pachia's turn.
okay, well ck pretty much summed everything up. in beautiful words as well. so what more is there for me to saayyy or do, but sit here and think of good new years resolutions to jot down? (by the way, i know why ck put "drink milk" and "stop slouching" on her list. hehehe. grown ups... tsk, tsk. i guess i should do that too though.)

PACHIA's RESOLUTIONS:
  1. Concentrate on school.
  2. Get a job, so you have money to spend!
  3. Stop wasting your time thinking about useless things...
  4. Figure out all this college stuff.
  5. Become a pro at French and sign up for Korean classes.
  6. Be nicer to your siblings, please.
  7. Eat healthier.
  8. Pick up a fun hobby.
  9. Be optimstic. Negativity gets nowhere.
  10. Get more in touch with yourself.
  11. Happiness (of course).
