swwoooop.

I had a very fun weekend last week. Just did not get a chance to blog about it. And Pachia did not blog about Sheldon Homecoming either. Well last Saturday was the most EXHAUSTING DAY EVER!!!!! I was up probably over 12 hours. I had to wake up at 6 am to get ready for Acadeca at Inderkum. I was at Inderkum until 5:30pm. Then I had to go home and get ready for homecoming which started at 8. We probably did not get ready until like 6:30 and we were rushing around for like an hour. It was crazy. I was so tired.

I cannot believe it was my last acadeca. THREE YEARS I have spent in acadeca. And sadly but funny, I think I put the most effort this year and I just crammed with the rest of my team the day before, haha. That is why Sheldon never wins, we are lazy. I blame our coach (though he is lovable!!!). But whatever, it was fun nonetheless. We only go to acadeca for the fun experience and to see the crazy Bella Vista kids.

I looked at the past team pictures and this year was the best one for me.
I looked GROOOOSS last two years.
I guess good haircut and losing weight in the face does help.

We look so cute :D

I went to the Academic banquet yesterday for Superquiz kids. The food was crap. It was Latin America theme and I could have gotten better stuff from El Super Taco. I definetly felt the beans when I got home. I spent probably spend like 10 minutes on the toilet when I got home (well you did not need to know that) but the dessert was BOOOOOMB. Chocolate mousse cake. Delicious. I actually won a MEDAL. It was very suprising since I only read Bless Me Ultima. After essay, speech and interview medals were gone, I thought I had no chance. I was actually talking to Michelle, Min, and Hanh while they were handing awards then they called my name. My table screamed like a crazy group. They were lovably embarassing with their screeching.

I was unsatisfied with the speech winners. My speech was more entertaining. I talked about how legal prostitution would help the economy better than the economic stimulus bill. I wish I had memorized it better. It was more entertaining than soccer, or writer's block (yes that is what the winners talked about). LEGAL PROSTITUTION > SOCCER & WRITER's BLOCK

Screw you old acadeca judges!

Well to break down homecoming. Lame if you did not dance with our group. It was entertaining. I was very sore afterwards. But it was definetly happy memories and great to enjoy it with Melanie and Pachia. I think they had lots of fun too. Senior ball will be even crazier. I definetly need to exercise the legs beforehand. I borrowed Pachia's red dress. It was cute. But tight...

The boys were super hilarious.
I had to call off the dance battles though.
They kept wanting to dance battle every other song.

Yesterday I watched this movie, CHARLIE BARTLETT, with my sister. It is a GREAAAT HIGH SCHOOL MOVIE. I looooove high school movies. My sister wanted to watch it because of Kat Dennings but the main actor, Anton Yelchin is freaking hilarious. He is so freaking animated! I love it. And the movie also increased my crush on ROBERT DOWNEY JR. Definetly want a principal fantasy with him. MMM... But yeah Charlie Bartlett really gives off an 80's high school movie feel to it. Very Tom Cruise-Brat Pack esque. Love those era movies. I do not see why this movie did not get enough hype. People dont watch good movies today anyhow.

Though is it just me but not all schools are that drugged up? Maybe its just not mine (or so i think....).

And I love how he wears the same blazer over and over and wears it a million ways,
AND IT IS STILL COOL.

That is style.

I love the new Lily Allen CD.
And I like that Kanye West cd.
Just started listening to it.

im already going to go broke.

I just love their ubercoolness. And their tucked in shirts and cute skirts!

So I am getting paid next week and of course I am putting majority of my money away into the bank, but I am at least leaving a couple bucks for myself to "reward" myself for my hard work.
However, I am having a hard time deciding what I really need because I WANT a lot of things, even if I DONT NEED THEM. You know how that goes.

WHAT I DO NEED:
  1. shoes but SHOES ARE EXPENSIVE. i want to buy a bunch of cheap cute sandals/flats. but can someone explain to me why those gladiator sandals are so popular? i am just not into them. but im not really into showing off my feet because i have huge ugly big feet (i am a size 8.5 in womens) so feet are gross to me.
  2. shorts. i have a ton of skirts but i need some shorts. i really like tailored shorts or just regular jean shorts but i really want some pumpkin shorts!

WHAT I REALLY WANT:
  1. dresses. it is summer and i really want a colorful and cute summer dress. or something very simple but still pretty.

The problem is that I don't really want to go splurging because I am really a cheapskate. So it is hard for me to go and spend like $20 bucks on a teeshirt. I am just not one of those people who can spend a couple hundred on really cool shoes, I just can't do it. I am really good at finding the right price so it will be quite an adventure when I go shopping next weekend. :]

But I really like these bows that they are selling online. They would be the cutest accesories for a simple outfit.

So I think the whole "glow in the dark" and retro neon colors has spread to Korea. Influence from Kanye West? Maybe. But Koreans spin it their own way and it is still super cool.

definetly kanye west influenced idea in the glow in the dark shoes!

spring is in the air...

yesterday i went to target, and i was so surprised when i saw swiming suits were already on sale! i didn't realize that winter was already coming to an end. i was still kinda planning on going shopping to buy a nice coat, but i guess i won't need to be doing that anymore.

i like how target has gone "green" now :) after looking at all of their products online, i think everything looks better in person. the pictures just dont do the products justice. and i love how target is a lot more inexpensive. their "go green" bags are only $14 compared to other places where its around $20.

i'm excited that spring is here. these are some of the things on my "wishlist" for the new season!

i need to go to IKEA and finish furnishing my room! my computer is on the floor, i have no drawers to put my clothes in, and its finally beginning to bother me.... my mom offered to take me yesterday, but we went to my aunts house, where family was visiting from out of town, so we just stayed kinda there all day! i bought these really cheap leggings from this one mexican discount store down in rancho called FALLAS PAREDES. i bought some red ones which were short, some off-black grey ones, and some dull green ones. i love discount shopping! before all of that, i was at GOODWILL tryingto find some nice shoes for junior prom, but i couldnt find anything i liked at all. and before all of that, i was taking my practice ACT/SAT test at school in the morning. all of that was yesterday though. today i was supposed to go around sacramento with marissa to take pictures for photography class, but she had to do something else-- so it got rescheduled to next week-- and i havent done anything worthwhile, besides clean my room. my brother walked in earlier to ask me something and said "what did you do to your room? how come it smells like clean clothes?" :D

my garu plant has sprouted flowers! i haven really been checking up on it, and just noticed this week. i wish i knew what kind of plant it was...
